Each year the SWCD offers FREE Food Plot seed! This year seed will be ready for distribution May 9, 2025, from 8am-12pm first come first serve. This seed is provided to landowners who would like to plant the seed as a food source for wildlife during the fall and winter months.
This year, seed will be ready for pick-up at our office garage located at 217 E Bell Dr., Warsaw IN 46582.

Corn (Roundup Ready)-Limited to (4) 4lb bags per landowner (1 acre of coverage)
Soybeans (Roundup Ready)-Limited to (4) 4lb bags per landowner (1/4 acre of coverage)
Sorghum-Limited to (3) 4lb bags per landowner (1 acre of coverage)
Sunflowers-Limited to (1) 3lb bag per landowner (1/4 acre of coverage)
